What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Orlando, Florida for the first time?

Fishing is tuff in August because of the heat and lack of oxygen the bite is tuff prey for wind. Also book a guide with a lot of Years of experience like Captain Erik he turned us on to fish in a tuff situation and work hard to keep us on the bite

If you are in Orlando and looking for a guy that can get brand new anglers or professionals on big fish, Makin’ Big Bass Memories is the way to go.

Although we caught some fish, we were told it's nothing compared to fishing earlier in the summer or in spring.

The guides seem to all use spincast reels. If you are not familiar with those you might want to brush up.

Honestly Steven handles everything!! Bring your sunscreen, drinks, and snacks. Also- remember that any experience with Steven is FANTASTIC and he will do his best to make sure you catch something.

It was hot but we were out there early to avoid it and there were a bunch of fish biting so it worked out. Bring your sunscreen, hat and coverage but even though it was so hot, it was so fun!

Live bait, which was something we don’t typically use back at home but worked out well for us during this trip

We went out early and David knew the spots to find us some good catches! I had the best time and caught a lot of fish!

Definitely go see captain erik. He knows where the fish are and he made my dad and my uncle and myself feel very welcome on his boat

Make sure you dress warm, weather can change throughout the day, and make sure you bring your smile. You will have a good time and the scenery is amazing!

Call Steven and be honest about your fishing abilities. He will do everything for you, or let you do it on your own if you are capable! Ask questions and tip your guide/captain!

There is both fresh and salt water fishing trips to take. I would speak to the captains to find the best times to fish the targeted fish you are looking for.

In hot months get there at sun rise or sundown. The heat slows down the bite. But it’s still there!!

February fishing in Orlando is great. Not sweltering hot for you or the fish. Get that morning bite though!!!

Get ready to catch some Big Florida Largemouth Bass!! Captain Erik knows where they hide!

Tarpon were spotty. Saw a bunch breaching the surface but just couldn’t get the bite on.

Don’t be afraid to take the drive to the Atlantic Coast to catch some great species of fish.

Bring sunscreen and a hat, and enjoy the fun! Captain Dave will put you right on the fish!
