What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Georgetown, South Carolina for the first time?

I love fishing in Winyah Bay in the fall. There are numerous good guides in the area and I would especially recommend Fish Skinny Charters (Capt. Greg Holmes) for a great experience. He's a great guy and he will put you on some fish. Frank Golson

Go with Stateline Guide Service and fish with Captian Wyatt. He is the best around for sure. You will not be disappointed

I would recommend fishing the area with an experienced angler the first time out and seek as much information as possible.

Take time to visit the town and historic houses while you’re there. Great place to leave the rat race behind.

check out captain jerry; talked to several other captains the day before while looking around and all were friendly, helpful and had coolers of fish

Fishing was good, it's cold out there though in late November so you better be dressed for it.
