Only had an hour at the top of the tide to pop out on opening day. Hit some shallow drop offs near home. Three drifts, three fish, 2 keepers and back to the dock in 45 minutes! Don't wait, this is a great time of year! Flounder, sea bass, blues, stripers and black drum. Lots of options!

Had an open day and took a friend Jeff B out to scout some of the local wrecks. It was drop and reel fishing on everything from 75' and deeper. Both clam and diamond jigs produced. Kept 24 of the biggest, and released most to catch another day! If you are looking for arm busting fun with double header sea bass, now is the time! Do not wait.
