Our captains are having great success of late. The White Bass on Lake Grapevine are feeding steadily on the days with good sunshine. Bud brought his family and friends out with Captain Omar on Lake Tawakoni for a half day morning of catching fish. And all it was, pretty much, was catching. On a half day, four hour trip over 125 fish were caught! With some smaller White Bass and Yellow Bass thrown back to grow a little bigger. This was an awesome group to fish with, and they did an awesome job of fishing three lines at a time with only two tangles. The group took away ten bags of twenty-five filets per bag!

The fishing remains very good and consistent at beautiful Lake Grapevine. Early morning shallow bite, then moving to deep water. The great thing about a 6:30am start and a 10:30am finish is you have the rest of the day to plan your fish fry for family and friends.

Huge schools of tasty White Bass arre roaming all over the at Lake Grapevine. Beautiful lake Grapevine has been on fire! Consistent catches of big fat white bass have been the norm for the last week. Great time to get out, enjoy the lake (you may or may not see another boat) and catch a bunch while they are roaming the deep water in large schools. The smaller RSR Lures have been working great while Bobo's Thumper keeps the fish under the boat.

Nate and Chantell brought their boys Andrew and Lucas out for a Christmas break trip and had a blast catching over 50 White Bass. Quite a few were a little small to keep, but 18 went in the box along with a big Crappie. It was a fun late morning to an early afternoon trip. The water temperature was in the mid 50's and was fairly stained. The fish are still holding a shallow in 15 to 17 feet of water. White jigging spoons caught almost all the fish. Winter is always a good time to be out because boat traffic is so much lighter.
