We met Rey at the beach, he had a short and a shirt with the images of Mahi Mahi. On the boat we talked and he told me that he had never caught Mahi Mahi, 10-15 min into the trip we caught the first one. After just one minute we caught the second one! After a while Rey said that there was a shark near the boat, when I looked I realized it was a huge blue marlin that was swimming next to the boat! As we joked that day, the blue Marlin came by to say hello. We continued trolling and after a few minutes, the third one bit! Then again, after a few minutes we caught two at the same time. At the end of the trip we had caught 7 Mahi Mahi, we released two of them.I cleaned the fish and a restaurant near the beach prepared the fish for Rey to enjoy. It was an excellent Mahi Mahi day.

After some time on the sea, one of the clients got really sea sick so we drove her back to shore. After one hour of a little jigging and bottom fishing we caught the big barracuda. Both clients were from Turkey, one of them was an experienced fishermen and for the other it was the first time fishing. The big barracuda was his first catch ever! We were all really excited and happy. The barracuda was aprox. 25 - 30 pounds.

The morning started windy but we still decided to go out and try our luck. We started trolling but after a while we decided to bottom fish to have better chances, because I already knew a place where there where going to be triggerfish. Everyone caught their own fish, and after a while we had about 6 triggerfish. The little boy was very excited because he caught the biggest of them all and fought a lot to get it into the boat! We ended the trip a little sooner than expected because of the wind that started to rise up a little and a little seasickness started to kick in. Once back at the beach I cleaned and prepped the fish so they could take it back to their hotel and have a nice meal.

We left early, and since the beginning of the trip the client was really happy and in a good mood. First we tried to catch a big one but we were not lucky, so we went for the smaller ones. We caught red snappers and triggerfish. The client who was already super happy got really excited when we caught a triggerfish just with the line and he got the opportunity to fight it with the bare line and his hands. It was the first time he fished like that and that experience made him really really happy. We are glad we had such a good time out on the water and we are excited to see our client again in 20 days when we will go out fishing together again!

It all started when we went on a fishing trip for 6 hours with clients that have a Youtube Channel. Almost 25 min into the trip, a big one got caught, at first I thought that maybe it was something at the bottom that got stuck on the line but after fighting it for quite a bit approximately 20 min the rod breaks! With what is left of it we continue fighting it. Our suspicions where a huge amberjack, a grouper, a red snapper, or maybe even a shark. We continued fighting and it almost finished a 300 meter reel! While we where still wondering what it could be that was so strong, It went to open sea so we followed, approximately 8 km from the coastline. It required a lot of strength because there was no flexibility left on the broken rod. After 2 hours and approximately 30 meters away from us the line broke! We never got to see what fought with us for so long. We checked the line and our best guess is that it was a shark. It must have been a 200 kg shark. And that was our adventure. After that we went on and caught huachinangos and a big red snapper. It was an exciting day, and I still wonder what kind of animal it was that was so strong.

At the beginning the dog was a little nervous about the trip, but after half an hour he became very excited about being on the boat with his owners. After an hour the first mahi mahi ate the bait and we reeled it in. After a while we caught two other mahi mahi at the same time. Then we almost caught a sailfish but he wasn´t really into the bait so he just played with it. At the end of the trip we caught another two mahi mahi. The dog was really excited every time a fish got reeled in. Everyone was very happy with the fishing trip!
