Buscar una tripulacion experimentada y amigable como esta, ser claro con las expectativas, si prefieres buscar alguna especie en particular o algun tamaño en particular, en nuestro caso les comente que era el primer viaje de pesca de los niños y queria que trataramos de asegurar pesca, y ellos en base a eso y su experiencia escogieron lugares y especies adecuados, y con paciencia y dejandonos guiar por ellos resulto increible

Good for jigging, did not hit anything when trolling but the day before they got Mahi-Mahi, so probably good.

Yes it was my first time to but i catched a massive wahoo fish. They kindly said how i needed to reel it in. So yes absolutely i would recommend this trip even if you have never fished before.

Try and coincide your trip with the peak season of your preferred fish target. My trip was at the end of the mahi mahi season which made the trip a bit more challenging

The sargassum is bad in the summer but not much you can do about that. It's fine once you get off the shoreline tho

Just be aware of the sargassum. It's really bad getting on the boat. But once you're on the boat they wash your feet and legs off with water. No big deal for my wife and I. The experience was top notch and we caught so many fish

When we went was a bit of a transition between seasons but our captains were in contact with other boats and chased where the action was. Really responsive and invested in us having a good day.

In June, expect onshore winds and choppy seas about 3 foot and sargasso weed which attracts mahi mahi and billfish. Arranging a crew that will work hard to clear the lines of seaweed is critical, including thelpibg out yourself to ensure clean baits in the trolling spread. That will greatly enhance your catch rate. Working hard produced a two sailfish at the same time for us and double Mahi, mahi

La Reina Sport Fishing Riviera Maya
Waters were beautiful, but choppy. 4/5 in our party got sea sick, so I would recommend treating for this ahead of time if anyone is prone to this.
