David Jr reached out looking for a Saturday charter due to another captain canceling on the 2 days before their date. Couldn't help on Saturday but the later booked me for today. David brought along his father David Sr and Srs grandsons Derruck and Tristan. We headed East out of West Harbor and worked the open water East of KI. Never more than 5 five miles offshore. The Walleye were on fire ? this morning. Perfect Walleye chop, with wind in low teens. The first 90 minutes were crazy hardly able to get the downloads set. Dipsey 3 setting 60 back and Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s 50 back were the workhorses. Off Shore Tackle Company Inline planner boards with TruTrip 40s and OR39 release keep us plenty busy. 60 to 80 back on the TT 40s. We had all but a few of their limit when I decided to make a turn back uphill. A few more and we had their limit. Then they got to net mine. Cahleen, Jennifer son Matt and Jennifer's father Phil were back today for a second round of casting for Lake Erie Walleye. We came out of the gates strong East of Middle Island. Got up to 13 Walleye then our bite died. Made a 5 mile move and the crew rallied to punch all tickets. Gold and Orange beads with 1.5 Oz in 40 plus fow. Had a crazy amount of 14" plus inch fish today. A pile of fillets are headed back to Chicagoland this evening. #BlackH2oDog #lakeeriewalleye

Trip two this afternoon was with David from Naples FL and his HS friend Jamie. We headed East of KI and set up our program of Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s 43 and 50 back with worm burners. Dipsey 3 setting with Rapala J7s 50 back. TruTrip 40s on Off Shore Tackle Company boards with BADMO LURES arrowhead spoons and J7s 65 back. It didn't take long for all of us to be reeler. Wes and his son Drew are up from Amarillo TX for an American Junior Golf Association tournament in Ann Arbor. So they reach out for a few hours on Lake Erie to get Walleye off of their Bucket List on Fathers Day. They got a quick lesson on the Off Shore Tackle Company planner boards and took control of the deck. They netted or attempted to net all the Walleye we caught. It took several Walleye to get the timing down but once they did, they got to enjoy some of them at the Crows Nest.
