Florida to Lake Erie. Jon wanted to get his son's Trent and Logan on their first Walleye. We set up a drift and cast to fill their cooler. We headed East into the sun then made a hard left out of West Harbor. We set up East of the can line and made long drifts towards the South Passage. We had a fair amount of White Perch. If you could get your crawler past the perch you had a good shot of a catching Walleye. 3/4 oz harnesses with gold blade. TruTrip 50 on each side. We ran mostly Rapala J7s on the downrods. Leads were 22 to 35 on the downrods. On the Off Shore Tackle Company planner boards we ran Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Rippers 60 back 2 oz. And BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons on TruTrip 40s. Speed was 2.8 mph at times.
