Spanish mackerel have been on fire! Non stop action on the Silver Tuna. Bait has moved in on the beach and fishing is only getting better! Surface water temp is 66 degrees. Bottom fishing has slowed but inshore flounder have begun to move in!

It was game on trolling for the Spanish mackerel. A nice size class of fish showed up today. After a quick limit in 45 minutes, we hit the bottom and came up with some grouper and sea bass.

If you want to catch mackerel now is the time! They are running good right now around our nearshore reefs here at Murrells Inlet South Carolina. Bottom fishing was fair. Water temp cooled a little after the weekend of a NE wind blowing at 63 degrees.
