Two half day big game fishing trips today. This morning a lovely wahoo was landed by our french customers and this afternoon deapite trying the wahoo did not hite but we did see the first mahi mahi which is a great sign as thats marlin food. The water temperature is upto 20 degrees and rhe latest news is the first blue marlin was landed off of Funchal today.

So today we had a soace this afternoon so decided to go and have a go ourselves. We had only been out 40mins when we got a bite. Played it stand up and soon we had another wahoo onboard. Out again tomorrow with customers so fingers crossed for more fun

So a half day big game fishing trip for our honeymoon couple chris and samantha. On meeting them this morning i told them that every honeymoon couple we had ever taken had always landed a good fish. Maybe i shouldnt have said anything till later but the fish Gods didnt let us down and they landed one spectacular wahoo and we lost another one. Making the happy couple ? ? ?

Today after the storms we have been battling coloured water and drifting debris. On board Flipper today we did not get lucky with the bites but signs the fish are arriving were there. Another boat hooked and lost a good tuna and tuna have been seen busting inshore. Also a couple of spearfish were also hooked today we will be back out there trying again tomorrow

Half day big game trip saw john in the chair for a good fight with a 65lb plus wahoo!! A strong taken on the lure ensured this fish wasnt getting off the hook until the last minute. Fish gave a scrap at the boat before being landed. This fish will provide plenty of suppers ?

Half day big game trip with an amazing family from canada. Nick landed his biggest ever fish. Trolling inshore for wahoo on light tackle. A lovely 56lb wahoo. A very hapoy family who took enough fish for lunch and donated the remainder to the local people.
