There are two types of fishing experiences I think in Madeira in August. A light trolling and bottom fishing trip like this, or a larger boat going out to try to catch Marlin (which can be hit or miss).

They offered us to go swimming in the middle of the sea, but we didn't have the swimmsuits, so maybe bring one. :)

Trust your captain they know the water and where the best spots are. We used prawn and razor clam and caught a variety of species. Most notably a skipjack tuna and bream.

La pêche est une expérience avant tous. Pêcher un gros poisson avec un matériel de professionnels, c’est formidable et change complètement l’expérience. De très beau défi !! Et ceux qui pense que la pêche est pas un sport. On a travaillé fort pour pêcher nos 2 super poissons. Wahoo et Tuna !! Le capitaine et son équipe était formidable et très passionné de son métier.
