Spring is among us! For the first time in a long while sun was out and we had shorts on! Fishing was steady. Tides have come up and the winds started cranking. All fish were caught with dead shrimp, but pin perch are coming in and maybe it’s time to change it up.

What a cold snap we stay on! But these brave guys were willing to go out and spend time on the water. Bite 2as slow all fish caught with shrimp on the bottom.

With winter still hanging around the weather on the weekends has not been the best! But we make the best of the days. The north winds started to blow in Friday afternoon, changed up the game plan. But with some Mullet, shrimps and cut bait we put a few fish on the boat. Lots of moves and lots of laughs. Fishing was tough this weekend but both groups were able to fight an oversized redfish in shallow waters on light tackle , so that was legit!

Dead shrimp was the trick today. These redfish were stacked up in deeper water as the tides are just super low. Air temperature was in The low 50s, water temp 56.

Today we had a great family from Wisconsin aboard. The bite was fast this morning, front blew in around 9 and the bite became sporadic. We made some moves got a few more bites. All in all solid day considering the weather. Fish caught with dead shrimp Carolina rigged.

Went fun fishing with a buddy, tides are low. Krazy Kast lures off the bottom got a few bites. Sunday I went out alone and had fun with a steady trout bite behind hog island bouncing grub tails. Looks to be a fantastic February ahead can’t wait to post more reports. Thanks
