Trout fishing has been really good since beginning of March. Bunching up in sea grass around sandbars, they have been quite aggressive busting live freelined shiners. Releasing most, but have harvested many for my guests dinner plates. The past week has been very windy and have started getting into snook action along some wind protected mangrove areas. Many happy kids this month which is my main objective.

The sheepshead bite has been really good this season. Pics are from trips over past few weeks. Looking forward to spring trout fishing as am finding them now as well.

Well it's been quite a busy year of fishing and November delivered some really nice weather and great trips. Black drum have started showing up at their traditional winter spots and the sheepsheads are starting to gather as well. Thanks FishingBooker for sending such a great new crop of kids this year!

Summer snook bite has been off the charts now for several weeks. Best results have been on late day outgoing tide. Live shiners getting blasted on virtually every cast. Awesome action for kids as they are mostly smaller males, but the big girls are there too. Sharks, jacks, trout and occasional flounder finding way onto our hooks as well. Round up the kids and let's go!

About a month ago we transitioned from focussing on bay fishing for sheepshead and Spanish mackerel, to inshore fishing for snook and Seatrout. Well it has been an absolute blast averaging more and bigger trout per trip than ever. Big jack crevalles, snook, and sharks have joined the party as well, thrilling clients and keeping my adrenaline pumping. These two brothers recently scored their personal best Spotted Seatrout freelining shiners over grassbeds. It's mostly catch and release as we keep no more than six, and only one over nineteen inches. Hope to see you and the kids this summer! Capt. Brook Wallace
