Some days when the winds aren’t blowing 20 knots the fishing has been great but when the winds are blowing we do our best to find the fish. We are catching fish everyday. We might not be catching limits every day but we are catching. Soon the winds will start to lay down and will be able to start fishing the reefs for speckled trout. We have been catching lots of reds in protected areas thats out of the wind. Combination of artificial baits and frozen shrimp are being used live bait is hard to come by right now.

Went out fishing on Monday February 19, 2024 on a cold morning with light winds. We made our way to pick up live shrimp and headed out to the marsh in search of flounder. But flounder bite was not there. But the redfish were stacked up cast after cast they ate. We almost had a 3 man limit but ended the morning going after some big sheepshead

Took a group of buddies out yesterday one 1/28/24. Set out around 8 am went to the first spot and cast after cast redfish were caught. Probably caught and released 50 redfish and kept 25 for a 5 man limit. Everything was caught on artificial lures. Winds were north at 17mph and water color was dirty. Were back at the dock at 1pm

Cold north winds blowing about 15 mph. Went to target redfish but only managed one keeper but the flounder was on fire. We caught enough for them to have dinner with thier families and released the rest. Everything was either caught with live shrimp dragging the bottom or on gulp.

These pictures are from the past two weeks! Fishing has been crazy. So felt like just putting it all in one report. Redfish are being caught pretty much everywhere right now from the lake to the marsh. Flounder are hard to come by. Trout are being caught on plastics and mirrodines. Big sheepsheads are being caught on live shrimp. Some days the winds play a factor and we go into the marsh. As well as black drum are being caught every day with the redfish.

No group is to large for us. If your party is bigger than 4 we can accommodate more boats like we have with this group of people. We started off by oicking them up at 6:30 am at the marina at golden nugget. After we set off we went to chase trout and as soon as we stopped one guy started catching them before i could get the other two guys set up. The other boat went into the bay and started to catch trout and redfish. After the bite slowed down we changed gears and went looking for hungry redfish. We caught then from sight fishing to beating the bank. Also broke off on a couple dinosaurs that had so much power they didnt want to be caught. It was a great days for both boats many throw backs but kept enough to bring home!
