We will be fishing downrigger with flashers and spoons or ace hi flies or casting buzz bombs or jigs.

Pinks are showing in great numbers with lots of action. We troll or cast at them depending on the group thats going out.

We rang in Independence Day with a slew of coho trips on Puget Sound! We saw some of the lowest tides of the year, but the weather and action was hot! We got our fish and off the water before the current and tide became too much. We launched out of Golden Gardens to be closer to the good fishing spots and landed on some great schools of resident coho every day! As you can see by the pictures, we can take as few as 2 people and up to 6 people per day and we did both this weekend. The fishing has been fantastic and these smaller resident coho make up for their size with big flavor! By far our favorite salmon to eat! Puget Sound Area 10 is open for Resident Silver Salmon and the fishing has been fantastic! These coho spend their entire (short) lives in the Puget Sound and eat krill, so their meat is as red as you can find in any salmon! Even though these fish average around 5lbs they are our favorite eating salmon! Sunday we headed out of Shilshole early on a beautiful morning. We made the short run to the fishing grounds and started trolling. Action was quick and we had our 6th fish in the cooler just after 7am! Made for a great quick morning, and these fish will be around in good numbers through the end of June or beginning of July at least. These trips are great for the whole family and weather will continually be getting better.
