Guided a father/son duo from NC today. Some big bull reds boated.

Ron and his wife were in my boat yesterday. Slow start but we finished strong with some nice shallow water bull reds. Hooked 5 and landed 4. Its going to keep getting better with some big schools of bull reds showing up in the Bay in September.

I don't post a lot here. Most of my clients are repeats from many years of guiding. I'm semi-retired , meaning I fish for myself more than I guide these days. I enjoyed a great day chasing tarpon alone on 8/20/25. Bull red season will kick in soon and I'm good as any, better than most at putting clients on those also. Limited openings available. This isn't bragging it's the facts from a lifelong guiding career giving 110% every time. Enjoy time spent on the water regardless of the outcome. Gary and Heidi Yates from Kentucky got their first taste of bull red fishing ( and catching ) on Winyah yesterday . Great people.

John is a long time client and brought his friend Scott who had never fished for big redfish. Bull reds did not disappoint. Scott got to experience just what great fighters truly big red drum are with a 43" er.
