We started out trying to stay out of the wind but the only thing hiding from it with us was smaller fish. So after moving 4 times we found the bigger fish.

It started out kind of chilly but it did warm up. The fishing is hot and only going to get hotter. The bet on the boat was first, biggest, and most like always. Well I told the Guys she was going to out fish them. It took her a bit and she didn't catch the first one but when she figured it out she caught the most and biggest. We had some good trips and fun times this past week. Had a rain delayed trip that turned into a catch fest. 4 person limit in an hour and fifteen minutes. And father and family with the 11 year old smoking the fish on her first Striped Bass fishing trip. And a catch and release trip that we only kept the ones that swallowed the hook that ended up in my freezer this time. Fishing can’t get much better than it is right now but it will. Wayland grabbed his first personal best Stripped Bass on this trip after many times coming down to fish this lake. He and his son had a blast. And look forward in coming again. Fishing has been great the lake is up. Weather has been hot so we’ve been going out early in the morning to get them.

We had a two day trip with Tye and family over this past weekend. Frist day was good and a training day on how to catch these Striped Bass. They did well and learned a lot in a short time. They pecked out their limit in about 4 hours. The second day they took from what they learned on the first day, and it was lights out after we waited out the stroms. We got a late start but they got their limit in an hour and a half. Book now The fishing is great.
