Crabbing is pretty nice with the use of traditional pots!!

One of Monterey bays most prized catch. Days consist of baiting traps, spotting bouys, pulling traps and sorting crab! Usually with some fishing during the down time! These trips are so much fun, and typically end in coolers full if delicious crabs!!

These trips are so much fun!! We bait and set hoop nets, then pull em, bait and set, and pull. Over and over until we have a cooler full of one of the most prized and delicious species montery bay has to offer. Depending on where the crabs are, we may do a little fishing while the hoops are soaking. Sanddabs, sole, and cod can all be caught in the same area! Season opens the first week of November!

Fall fishing is the time when we start seeing the big lingcod coming in. These are aggressive predators with giant mouths full of sharp teeth!! And they are not only super fun to catch but also fantastic eating!! Have you ever envisioned yourself as a dragon slayer?! Nows your chance!!

Lots of big fish being caught right now. The halibut bit is great for those willing to out in the time!! Dont miss out!! Hopefully it lasts for another month or so!!

They dont get big by being dumb! We gotta hunt them down and when we find em, its on!!!
