We have been finding some specks with our sheeps head lately. The trout are moving out pf the bayous and stacking up in my holes. Flounder bite has been getting hot as well.

We had to postpone a day and search for the fish. Once we found a few it was pretty steady. Dan caught the biggest sheepshead to date on our boat. The weather was less then desirable but the fishing sure is heating up. Thanks again to Dan and Jack for a memorable trip.

The weather has warmed up the past few days. I did some scoutung and caught alot of speckled trout. There were alot of smaller fish but several made the cut amd we tagged several as well.

I went out two days after the snow. The trout have left most of the bayous i fish but the sheephead and puppy drum have moved in. The 14-16” drum are delicious amd put on a good fight.

The wind was blowing and the temperatures were not high. We fished several reefs with limited success. Once the sun warmed up the sand and shell bottom, the trout began to fire up. The specks still seam to be hammering the live bait.

In between the cold fronts, the fishing has been pretty good for december. The big trout are finally starting to move to the interior marshes abd bayous. Redfish are still hanging around as well. Lots of rats but a few for the box as well.
