I am using live Blueback Herring and fishing any where between six to eight rod/reels. The fish are fairly shallow and oriented to points in the mid to northern part of the Lake. The Planer Boards and Flatlines are putting fish in the boat!!!!

With warmer water temperatures, Stripers and Bass have moved to shallow water...around 30 ft or so. Using In-line planer boards is both fun and exciting!

The live bait was good as was the crew today. We got into some good Stripers using planer boards and downlines. An excellent day on the Lake!

Water temperatures are rising; the bait fish have come out of their cold weather waters AND the predators are lurking on points and shallow water markers. Casting live Herring is working as is the slow troll using the trolling motor.

On March 9 I had a guide trip with two ten year olds and their father. We caught some big Stripped Bass! Tons of fun!
