Black Snapper II is a very versatile boat. Ideally suited for inshore fishing for Roosterfish, it's also a fast and quickly maneuvered offshore boat. We headed out for sailfish first and found a sweat spot. Then, heading in we found tuna and dorado. Another great day aboard Black Snapper II out of Marina Pez Vela in Quepos!

A day on the water with your kids is a great day, especially when you're reeling in delicious yellow-finned tuna!

Another beautiful day out on the water aboard Black Snapper II for a father and his two sons. We fished with live bait and everyone managed to reel in a nice yellow-finned tuna! That's some great tasting fish and a memorable day fishing that will last a lifetime.

With the live well full of bait, we headed in close to shore and got a couple of big rooster fish on and they put up a good fight. Too good, in fact. Both got away before we could bring them aboard. We did land a nice needlefish and a Spanish Mackerel before heading back to the beach.

After a little fresh fruit to start the day, we went in search of Roosterfish or Gallos as they're known in Costa Rica. We used live sardines and quickly caught two good-sized fish. Then we enjoyed some cookies and sandwiches as we reeled in several jacks, a mackerel and some needlefish. Not bad a for a 1/2 day! A great time was had by all.

It was a beautiful morning sailing out of Herradura Bay. We caught one good sized Rooster Fish followed by a giant barracuda that severed the leader before we could bring him aboard. We also had some snapper on the line, which was fun!
