Another great day out there yesterday with the Martin family from Magnolia, Texas joining us aboard GOOD DAY here at Marina Pez Vela Costa Rica. The Sailfish were biting good & we released 6 Sails from 9 bites, with everyone on the boat tagging & rejeasing their 1st ever Sailfish which was a great result. We lost a Dorado of around 25lbs & we continued our search for one of those big 40lb Bulls that have been appearing but no luck on that yesterday. All in all a fantastic day with a great group of guys! Heading back out there now! ??

4 Sailfish & 3 Dorados for David, Michael & Steven from Georgia aboard GOOD DAY today! ???

A simply great day out there yesterday during our Offshore trip aboard GOOD DAY. Frank & Camren from Illinois caught some truly epic fish. Not one but two HUGE Dorado…Frank’s fish taped out to 63” & we estimated 45-50lbs. Camren caught a second big Bull Dorado a short while later, this fish measured 59” and we estimated around 40lbs. Then there was the Sailfish action, 18 year old Camden scratched his first ever Billfish off his list, a fine Sailfish of 108” and est. 90-100lbs. Then we finished the day on a high with the guys catching a double Sailfish to close out the day and head back to the Marina early & truly satisfied. During yesterday’s Offshore trip aboard GOOD DAY here at Marina Pez Vela Costa Rica, we went 2 for 3 on Sailfish & were provided with some National Geograpic worthy scenes when a pod of Orcas gave us a visit. Such an amazing experience to have a year guys along side the boat just 15 miles from the Marina. Tom & Wei from San Diego joined us for a couple of days Fishing, such a lovely couple & a total pleasure to have aboard. They were delighted to each tag & release a Sailfish for Gray FishTag Research and catch 6 Dorados during day 1. We tried for a Sailfish on the Fly but no luck on that front unfortunately. Just got back from todays trip which was awesome, report coming soon!

Today was a blast! Congrats to our guys from Curaçao with 3 stunning Roosterfish aboard GOOD DAY! 33”, and 42-45”….great to deploy 2 tags for the Gray FishTag Research program After ticking the Roosterfish off their Bucketlists, the guys are heading out to the FADS tonight for a couple of days of Marlin Fishing! ???

2 for 2 on Sailfish & a stunning Bull Dorado for our new friends from Oklahoma aboard GOOD DAY today. Two tags deployed for Gray FishTag Research into two huge Sails of 106” ‘ 108” respectively. We finished the day up trying to get a Roosterfish but no luck on that front! Back out there tomorrow’ ??
