We had a very nice group from Delaware today. Turns out they've been all over the country catching different fish so I knew that I had my work cut out for me. Being a day of a 25 mile an hour Nor'easter I knew I would not be able to take them and anchor up in my favorite spots to try to put them in the right area of fulfilling their dreams. So we tried trolling for the first part of the trip in the Backwater trying to hunt down some big drum and eventually gave up with no luck. With the water being so rough you could not see the fish and the birds could not either so they weren't much help. The second half of the trip we went to a little Hideaway spot tucked up between two islands with a 16 foot deep Slough running through the middle. Hoping for the best we started doing some bottom fishing and caught a few different species of small fish but finally pulled in a very nice 13 in Sheepshead at which that time the gentleman began thinking he had the biggest fish. After fishing a while longer a female then caught a bigger sheep head then the party became more comfortable and started enjoying the trip I believe. Although we did not catch anything to brag about or have any big memories I still believe they had a good time and hope that they will give us another shot at it on not such a bad day. For not every day is a great day on the water but every day is a great day to be on the boat from the crew of the fishing taxi tight lines and God bless.

Had a wonderful group from West Virginia today unfortunately Northeast winds were strong waves were hard and fishing was rough. After catching to Spanish Michael's on the first half of the trip we decided to move to the inside and try some bottom fishing where it was a little Comer. Where to go had some bites but still nothing to brag about. A wonderful group three different parts of the family and I believe they all had a good time even though fishing weren't as good as we prefer Maine Pyar team treats me like. I had a wonderful family from Virginia today that wanted to get their trip in before the hurricane got here. After troll in a while and having a good catch of Spanish mackerel and Bluefish which most with throwbacks but still I believe the family was having fun. I gave the the choice of trying something different halfway the trip and they will game for it so we set out to go try to catch him flounder. Unfortunately the one we did catch needed to grow about eight more in but also had a a couple of puffer fish that we called that were exciting to watch blow up. After having fun with that then we were able to head back toward the marina where they got their picture taken and seemed to have a good time. After that I went and hauled the boat up and prepared for the blood that's on the way. From the crew of the fishing taxi tight lines and God bless!

Had a wonderful family today a dad his wife and two girls. They weren't hard to please I don't like a lot of parties they just wanted to catch some fish and when I said something about ribbon fish they said that would be great. So we headed out it was an evening trips and not a whole lot of boats were out for us to zero in on our catch but we found them anyway. They didn't know what they were reeling in the first fish that come in they were excited scared and then excited again LOL especially the little ones but all in all we had a great trip on a beautiful day it made it back safe which made it even that much better missing out on all the rain squalls that were around us. I mean yesterday we had a wonderful group from Richmond Virginia. We were attempting to have a wonderful day on a 6-hour trip but Mother Nature wanted to try this and she won. Heading out with already discussed that we wanted to go after something big and then then maybe drop back to the smaller stuff if the big fish were not helping. After getting out to our fishing grounds the ways were two to four foot in the Wind and Rain were just ridiculous but we attempted to make a go at it and after a couple hours we figured out that might not be the way to go. While trolling to a different area trying to go after small or fish each man was able to reel in one cutlassfish each. Getting an update from another Captain we picked up Bates and ran to another area that the fish were supposedly inviting but by the time we got there to fish and disappeared or stop biting. It was a very disappointing day for such a great group I really enjoyed there, sense of humor unfortunately we were not able to give them to catch that they were looking for. Although we do have days like this every now and then unfortunately it was a shame what to know did I did everything possible from running up to 12 miles to try to put them on some fish but not every fishing trip turns out with great memories. Had a very good friend and his gang go out with me today including his son and his little friend. We were trying to locate the albacore and king mackerel and weren't having much luck of it after half the trip was gone I started to worry that we were not going to find them. But never give up on fish before we knew it we were catching all different types of fish from false albacore to MoonFish to nice size Spanish mackerel. There was nothing funnier than watching the little guy's real in the big fish it reminds me why do this and have so much fun doing it. By the end of the trip everybody was satisfied with fish and we ended up with a good catch on a sloppy day. From the crew of the fishing Taxi tight lines and God bless!
