Today was a perfect day for the Patch Reefs. A variety of fish to hand with a few big snapper for dinner

It's been good the past few days on the parch reefs for YellowJack, Grouper, and Hogfish.

We've been targeting these Grouper with live Pinfish in the passes and Mangroves on some lighter tackle. Some days we have multiple fish landed and others seem to find away in the structure before we can pull them out.

The wind was pretty stiff this morning, but the Grouper didn't mind. We jumped two smaller Tarpon earlier that morning.

We decided to go after Snook today in hopes we could land John's first Snook. We found some Snook, but so did a school of Lemon Sharks. After the Sharks messed up Snook fishing, we did some Speckled Trout fishing to finish the day.

All the Speckled Trout you could want and a few Snook to polish the day off.
