Fresh Lake Ontario - Canada Fishing Reports

Lots of big fish and big smiles aboard the boat as stagging mature chinooks and plenty of other salmon and trout have been hitting the deck. There is still time to book a trip before the season ends.

Cody and his sons Dillion and Elliot had a morning to remember fishing salmon on Lake Ontario. The day started with a double header of mature chinooks and we continued to pick away at them all morning long. We saved the best for last as our final fish of the morning wheighed in at just over 25lbs. A great morning creating memories that will last a lifetime.

When Breanna booked a trip for Alex's birthday present, they had no idea how special of a day it would be. Shortly after 10am, the starboard rigger fired. We knew it was a good fish, and after a couple of strong runs and some fancy maneuvering to keep it out of the other lines, I was blessed to slip the net under it. It was when I went to hoist it into the boat, we realize the magnitude of the fish. 40" long with a 26" girth, weighing 30.36 lbs on my digital boat scale. Congratulations Alex, thats a heck of fish.

The fishing has been excellent the past week and should stay good. Mixed bags of chinook and coho aalmon along with rainbow trout have been hittingbthe deck.

The fishing has been heating up with good catches of lake trout and Chinook salmon. As we approach July, the rainbows and cohos should start showing up in greater numbers providing lots of action.

As we contine to grow we have purchased a beautiful luhrs tournament boat! What does that mean? We can now accommodate groups of 8 and have alot of space and width! Featuring a 12ft beam so we have a huge dancefloor!
