Amberjack by Amberjack Sportfishing
Captain Kevin and his first mate were great. We caught like 25lbs of tuna take away so we ate great and the barracuda was awesome. We are more used to fishing than troll fishing but still a lot of fun. The snack was fresh fruit which we enjoyed. Definitely would fish with them again. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

My expectations for fishing in costa rica were that we would have semi constant action throughout the day however we only had 5 bites landing 2 fish which i found to be even slower than where i live in New Jersey

Do your research for the right captain. I would stay away from the larger boats with all the glamour. Stay with a small boat like Capt. Luis Sandi.

Know that marlin and sailfish are catch & release only. No marina in Tamarindo, If you want to take fish back, make sure that is arranged before trip. We could not find a small soft side cooler to put our frozen grouper, red snapper and tile fish fillets in for transport back to Houston. Still a awesome trip with perfect weather and seas.
