Spend the extra money, and buy the more expensive charter. I had 15 buddies do other charters the same day, and they all caught fish. No hate on the Captain or mate, but the more expensive charters have better equiptment, faster boats, and more amenities.

Hunter Twins Sportfishing
This was our 2nd fishing trip on The Bucket List with Jeff and Jose. Fantastic fishing, excellent captain and crew. They worked very hard to put us on the fish. Constantly working the lines and bait. Helped some in our party to learn how to REEL in the big fish. Lunch, drinks and snacks were plentiful! Caught 7 sailfishโฆ..we will be back!

Captain Randy and mate David were knowledgeable and attentive. We caught 6 sailfish. Capt Randy was in communication with other boats to know where the fish were if we wanted to go for tuna or Mahi. We did get to see 2 different types of dolphins and sea turtles which just added to the great experience.

Yes. Fishing Matters doesn't have the biggest boat you charter but his price was very reasonable and they kept you fed and hydrated and also provided beer

The billfish can be spotty (peak sailfish and marlin season is Jan-April) but there is plenty of opportunity for other fish, like tuna. A 3/4 or full day trip will give a better chance of catching fish given different species are found at different distances from shore.

small boats dont have a lot of shade. bring lots of sunscreen and at least long sleeve shirts.
4 hr trip ok for younger kids. 6 hrs too long.
