Our Tuesday afternoon report

When the heat is up, the grit comes out. Today was a day of "entry and exit", straight to the point. The Pacific welcomed us with a relentless sun and a strong southeast wind that stirred the waters, but the real challenge was not the weather, but the Needlefish. It seemed that they had agreed to sabotage the morning: they arrived only to do damage, hitting the bait with surgical precision and cutting lines before we could react. It was a constant technical duel against these fast bait "thieves" who put our patience and our riggings to the test. ⚔️ In approximately three and a half hours of battle under the heat, we managed to make two solid catches: a Needlefish that we did manage to hook and a fierce Jack Crevalle who gave the fight we were looking for. In the end, with the sun on high and the wind blowing hard, all that was left was to do what instinct dictates: To the water! A refreshing dip to close a short day but full of salt and adrenaline. A morning for the history books at Mathis Fishing Legends. Today we don't just go fishing; we go out to rewrite our own story. What we lived on the coast was one epic battle after another. Never before have we had such a productive day: 10 Roosterfish captured and released in a single morning! The action was so frantic that, before the sun reached its highest point, we were already in a "crisis of success": we almost ran out of bait! The attacks were constant, violent and precise. It was a display of power by the "Kings of the Crest" that left us all breathless and with exhausted arms, and the most incredible thing is that we hadn't even reached the afternoon! But the ocean had more surprises on the menu. In addition to our dozen champions, we added to the account three large Spanish Mackerels, four Needlefish and, to close with the cake, a Jack Crevalle who gave a fight worthy of a warrior. It has been a day of records, pure adrenaline and, of course, a lot of abundance. Once again, the Pacific confirms to us that when you search with faith and experience, the sea always responds.
