Lately, the catches are costing us blood, sweat and many miles. Nature is an enigma that we never finish deciphering, and in the total absence of the Sailfish, we have had to pivot our strategy and rethink the scenario. Today we launch a theory on the air for our friends and fellow fishermen: Is the massive deployment of advanced technology (state-of-the-art sonars, high-power transducers) of tournament boats impacting the behavior of the fish? Is it possible that so much “technological noise” is driving the Bills away from their usual routes? In the midst of this radio silence by the big ones, today’s score was modest but honest: a Macarela Tuna, a Bonito and stop counting. It was not the dream day, but one that leaves us with our minds working at a thousand per hour. In the sea, as in life, when the fish does not bite, the captain studies. A tough day at the office, but the table is still set. There are days in which it seems that the protagonists of the Pacific agreed to disappear from the map. We threw, searched and probed, but today the great trophies decided to keep the mystery. This is fishing: a challenge where there are no guarantees, only the promise to try with all your heart. However, the sea always has a plan B. When the silence became long, the Needlefish appeared to save the morning. Although they were not the colosses we were looking for, they gave us the righteous battle and, most importantly, the star ingredient for the table. At the end of the day, success is not always measured in pounds, but in the seasoning of a fresh dinner earned with effort. Tomorrow we come back for the retach! Big Maui saves rhe day

Two amazing trips, one haft day of botton fishing and 3/4 day trolling.

When the students become masters in record time. There are afternoons that don’t need hours of waiting to become legendary. Today it took us barely an hour for the party to start on the deck. We had on board clients with a lot of enthusiasm but little experience, and seeing their enthusiasm when facing their first catch is what gives meaning to our work. ?️? Under the tutelage of the “doctors of a thousand battles”, our guests graduated with honors. El Pacífico gave them not one, but two Roosterfish champions, worthy of any trophy showcase. Seeing those iconic ridges come out of the water was the perfect final exam for our new fishermen. In addition, the day rewarded us with a Jack Crevalle who tested his strength and a cunning Needlefish who could not resist. It was a short, intense session full of smiles. There’s nothing like the pride of someone who feels for the first time the power of a big fish on the other side of the line. We returned to the port with the satisfaction of duty fulfilled.
