4 hours short trip report

Recently we have done several 4 hours short trips, in Matiatia Bay area. The catches over there were quite good, including big snappers, Trevalley, Yellowtail Kingfish, etc. Meanwhile big sharks are active as well—-Lemon sharks. We have released them successfully. When the weather is good we usually arrange open water trips. Over there the depth of water is about 40 meters, where there are more opportunities to catch different kind if fish, as well as decent size yellow tail kingfish. You are welcome to book our trips, and looking forward to seeing you on the water in Hauraki Gulf!

There is nothing like a beautiful, warm late afternoon fishing in summer. We headed out to Kawhau Island with 2 eager fishing buddies. We had amazing views, good laughter, and fish to take home. See you again soon, fellas.

There's nothing like taking Mum, Dad, and the children for an exciting day on the water. Great fun was had buy all good sunshine, calm water and plenty of fish. A nice haul of Beautiful looking Snapper and a John dory were brought on board and into the chilly bins.

There are a lot of small snapper, good fun though. also got a really good snapper but don't expect monsters, probably shouldn't expect monsters that close to a city anyway?

Ocean Catch

If you're travelling from Auckland it's a long drive (3+ hours) so before you leave confirm your booking time by phone so everyone is clear. Our boat didn't have a toilet, which was an issue for one of our party who had to stay ashore and miss the action. Bring a big chilly bin - you'll need it.
