Clearwater Beach Fishing Charter
Sheepshead and gag grouper were abundant in March. We caught plenty of fish. It was a great time.

We were on the tail end of a cold front so fish were slow but we got into them and kids slayed over 20 on our 3hr charter

Save your time scrolling through guides and just book with Evan, one of the best trips we’ve been on. Mid Feb is a slow time to fish but he put us on 30plus fish and some very nice ones at that.

I learnt that going out expecting to catch non stop after a full moon isn’t going to happen, the light from the moon has the fish feeding all night, so you need to work a little harder to bag your catch.

I think there is great potential for some great fishing here. We had a tropical storm due to start during the event of the day if our charter, and I think that affected the bites, but we saw A LOT of fish, they just weren’t very aggressive. Beautiful area to fish, plenty of opportunity, especially with a guide like we had that is highly experienced.

I will say this… It was absolutely brutally hot out there especially on the bay! Prepare yourself the night before by hydrating and certainly dress properly and bring lots of water, sunscreen and towels to wipe off with. Also, be sure to bring a little cooler with ice on this trip

Gulf to Bay Fishing Charters
Your experience matters. Use it to your advantage. Trust the captain. They know where to put you on the fish. But , take some enjoyment in doing it for yourself. My captain worked the whole time to help the less experienced people in my party land the fish , while I caught plenty myself including every species we went after.

It was really good for us for snook and sea trout especially (late april). Redfish was a bit tougher, only catch 3 total.

Capt Mike was great, He uses natural bait. Hit all his favorite spots that hold fish and worked the tides. Caught 10 fish on a day that was not ideal condition. Other anglers/boats nearby did not appear to be having success, while we did

Dress warm in the winter months, layer..so if you get hot you can take things off. It gets cold out there on the trip out and back.
We thought 75 ° we suitor be good..but a bit cold. Other than that the trip was Amazing!

Don't cancel if the weather is forecasted to be bad- it changes pretty quickly . What is bad the day before becomes beautiful the next morning. You will miss out on great fishing if you let the the weather scare you off.
