Go for the longer trips. 5 hours was good enough to catch something during the bad week of weather during our trip. Go for someone with a fast boat, because storms will pop out of nowhere, and you'll want to be on something that can fly out of the area at 50mph

Expect to catch fish in early March but its just starting up. Don’t expect unrealistic numbers. Enjoy the water and have fun.

We caught several fish of average to small size, none of them were very big. We were told this Feb was colder than normal which contribues to which fish you’re most likely to catch, as most of the larger fish migrate to the warmer water.

If first time fishing - bring along sea sick patches and watch the weather. If high wind use the patches. We were one of a few boats that were not sea sick. others went in early!

The boat was great for three to fish from. I would think four would be the most but would be a bit crowder. More than that, I would check with Captain Steve.

Fishing in the December season is best for near shore fishing. Just wear warmer clothing and be ready for choppy waves!

This boat and location is perfect. You are literally in the Gulf Stream as soon as you leave the inlet. Action was perfect.
