Fresh Okeechobee Fishing Reports

The transition between the spawn and summer time pattern has now commenced on Lake Okeechobee! Big females have came in and laid their brood for the years to come. These giant fish are now moving out of the shallow spawning flats and feeding up on the shad spawn! The bite in the morning right as the sun comes up will be absolutely awesome and there are hundreds of bass chasing bait blowing up all around the boat! The bite slows down some once the sun gets high in the sky and the shad stop spawning for the day. When this happens we go out searching for big ol Bessie the biggest bass in Lake Okeechobee! It is always a great way to spend a morning or evening on your vacation or if you are just looking for something to do! Get in touch we will go on adventure in the swamp and have some fun!!

The fishing is amazing on the north end of Lake Okeechobee! The big fish are eating wild golden shiners regularly and I am on a massive school of giant bass which in turn means if you hop on the boat with me YOU will be surrounded by the biggest fish swimming in this lake! Come on down! Get in on the action!! ??

The wild golden shiners are being eaten by these pre and post spawn bass like candy! Giant fish are moving in by the hundreds!!! Now if ever is a great time to get out on Lake Okeechobee and search for that fish of a lifetime!!! The artificial bite has been a little tough / hit or miss due to high water and the fish moving however they can not resist a shiner! Fish are biting all over the north end of the lake. With the tropical storm nearby we have water levels coming up and an excellent morning bite! Topwater summer action on swimbaits early is a ton of fun! Then shiners come through when it slows down as the sun gets up!

First time ever bass fishing and they ended up catching a 7 pounder, 5 1/2 and several other great fish! On artificial and live bait! The morning bite is great right now then slows as the sun is up perfect for a 4 or 6 hr trip!

The morning bite right now is excellent especiallt artificial lures. Top water action first thing then when the sun gets up it slows down and we go to picking areas apart. Perfect time for a 4 or 6 hour trip!!
