Dress in layers as its quite chilly when you first arrive. Wear sturdy, old shoes. Stop for restrooms before arriving at departure meeting point, if enough time. I did not need to pack as many snacks or drinks as I thought.

Bring layers. It could be hot or cold. We actually modified what fish we were fishing for based on what the captain knew was biting so based on our experience I would say take recommendations from the guy who knows!

The mackerel didn't cooperate, so we weren't able to use live bait (which is a ton of fun). Even so, we managed to get 11 stripers to the net in less than 5 hours.
It was a ton of fun!!
