Listen to your crew. Weโre from St Louis. Fishing in the Great Lakes was very different than fishing in other Mid-West lakes. We lost a couple of nice sized salmon because we used other hook & reel techniques that simply donโt work when fishing in Lake Michigan. Following the crews advice we managed to catch plenty of nice size salmon, including the sixteen pounder my son caught.

Yes I would recommend, however but not in September, it is unpredictable, Captain Bob said that May through August is best. I will probably take my wife and my kids for next year.
