If fishing in January, definitely wear windbreakers and several layers as the trip out on the lake gets very cold. Thermal gloves are highly recommended in addition to a face mask to break the cold wind.

The only reason I didn't go with 5 stars is because the fishing the day we went was off and we didn't catch but one fish. The reason, heavy rains the day before and morning we fished we largely responsible for the poor fishing conditions. Our guide, Jason Buchanan was awesome and had no control over whether the fish are biting. I highly recommend him.

Expect the best thing fishing guy, this side of Hill county, Texas if he can’t put you on, no one will just bring your beverage and choice kick back and really named your fish. Then when you’re done he’s gonna take you up to the dock and clean all those fish for you can’t get no better than that.
