May want to wear some thin fishing pants and long sleeve fishing shirt…..horse flies can get rough near the mangrove trees at times. Still totally worth it.

Just make sure to go over what you will be doing on your charter. We were supposed to fish then snorkel and we only fished. Fishing only was cheaper than what I picked for our charter and it became all fishing that day. Otherwise it was great.

Captain Jay Charters 2 – Bay Boat
I would book a full day trip, which allows you to spend adequate time fishing at several locations including spots that are further away from port. Full day trips also are better if you want to target multiple species of fish. Lastly, let the captain know what fish you want to target in advance so that he can plan accordingly.
