Go early for the best fishing, and also to beat the heat. We have caught Red drum inshore and barracuda 10 miles off shore, which were great for eating. Other fish were caught as well.

Yes, and the weather was perfect 5-8, not too hot, not cold, nice breeze on the waters. The pier was easy to get to, plenty of parking, and not too far away from everything else.
