Great AM trip with a nice Blacktip!!!

Was a tad too windy for the offshore reefs but the East wind had the water along the beaches nice and flat. And the fish were active - lots of Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Jew West Grunts, Trout, Flounder and more!

Grouper were waiting for is today. Action from the start was great. 5 gag grouper to start out with less then 15 minutes along with some smaller reef fish mixed in. Its catch and release gag grouper but we can keep the red grouper and scamp grouper so you still have a shot at taking a grouper home. We had one flounder in the mix and one big one that is just a fish story now as it slit the hook just as it was coming over the real The grey snappers were hungry. ( white grunt ) and they would take a piece of squid as soon as it hit the bottom. Now that the water is cooling down fishing is only going to get better. Remember you cant hook it til you book it. Went out with a solo angler and we stayed close to the beach due to winds but the action was NONSTOP! We caught a ton of Pompano, big Spanish Mackerel, and lots of other species in light gear. We also had a Dolphin chilling by us all day - God is good ?

Snook, Flounder, Redfish, Trout and Tarpon. October is one of my favorite times of the year for Inshore Fishing. Diversity and quality of Inshore Species doesnt get much better.
