Trip Summary

Leaving the dock about 7:45 AM we stop at the bait dock for live anchovies. Then off to see some California Sea Lions before our fishing starts. While we were fishing and on the way back to the Harbor some Bottled Nose Dolphins followed us back right next to the boat. We caught 8 different kinds of fish. Really fun day.

Left the dock at 8:00 AM, picked up some live bait and travel 45 minutes to the spot. Hooked 3 large fish that got away. Then we settled in and caught, White Seabass, Calico Bass, Sand bass and Barracuda for a total of 16 fish.

Left the dock at 7:30 AM for a Fun Day at sea. Started off catching our Limit of Rockcod. Then trolled for a Mako Shark with no luck but did catch some nice Bonito which the customers ate raw on the boat.

Left the harbor at 7:30 AM , Stopped at Bait Dock for fresh Live Sardines, we already have Squid and Shrimp. Forty five minute run to the Rockcod spot. Within one hour we have limits of Rockcod. WE then start trolling for a Mako Shark, two hours later we caught a Nice Mako Shark. Great eating. We then move on shore for Calico Bass and Sheepshead. We caught all of those also. Great day on the water and lots of fish to eat.
