We've reached the summer heat here in the Twin Cities. Water is reaching peak temperature and the bite is getting tough for the time being, right now it's really important to pay attention the safety of these fish. After the next couple of trips I will be taking a break until the water cools. We do have cooler air temps coming for a couple of days so that should help. I would expect August to be phenomenal fishing. Get your late summer trips planned because they are already starting to fill up.
