Trip Summary
As we enter the dog days of summer, the annual return of those lovable noisy croakers is in full swing. Catching, not fishing is the order of the day as the croakers come over the rail faster than we can take them off the hook. Some are of a very nice size, 10 or 11 inches. Great fun for youngsters who just want to catch, or seasoned fly guys looking to improve their strip strike.
Flounder continue to bite, and the increased size limit makes those keepers that much heavier.
Sharks are lurking about, and bite enthusiastically when they get a whiff of fish blood.
We are awaiting the appearance of the fall rock stars, speckled trout and puppy drum. Any day now....
Try out the new "Family Fun Fishing" 3 hour afternoon trip. It has been very popular and a good way to get introduced to the fun of fishing. See you on the water, Aloha!
