Trip Summary

Today's second trip was a Father Son Outing. We headed out of West Harbor and set up just beyond the Ferry lane. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50 and 40 were strong. TruTrip 40s 60 back, 50s 40 and 50 back and Dipsey3 setting 36 and 50 back. This 1st time crew put in the effort and were running the rods with confidence. Tim and Rebecca along with their sons Mason and Hunter made a stop along there Great Lakes shoreline vacation before heading home to St Louis. Great to see a family support their children's fishing interests. We had a checklist for today's Walleye outing. Catch their 1st Great Lakes fish and their 1st Lake Erie Walleye. Leave dock at 7am and be back by 10:30. We headed east of the Ferry land. We got it done and they are here headed back home for nice fish day. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s 40 back. TruTrip 40s.45 back. Both with worm harnesses, single and double Colorado and Willow spoons. Today's first charter was with Daniel and Jess. We started late and had to be back to dock early for other commitments. We pointed the bow towards the sun and went to work past the Ferry lane. Ran program similar to yesterday, Colorado and Willow blades 40 on the Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50, 60 and 45 on the Dipsey 3 setting. TruTrip 40s on Off Shore Tackle Company Inline board's 40 to 60 back. Speed was 2.2 mph Great morning with these two, several nice Eyesntonfill their cooler. Round two today a Father Son team from Cincinnati area. We headed out of a busy West Harbor and headed East of the Ferry lane. We set out a mix to see what these mid-day Walleye wanted. Best settings were Bandit 65 back on Off Shore Tackle Company Inline boards, Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Ripper 100 back, 2 oz. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 40s 40 back, 50s 40 back, with spoons and crawler harnesses. Speed was 2.2 mph. We were all reelers this afternoon, we stopped early to get the fish to Sassy Sal Charter Fish Cleaning. #BlackH2oDog #letsgofishing #cedarpoint #charterfishing #sandusky #fatherson #lakeeriewalleye
