Trip Summary

Today was a fantastic day out on the water. The weather couldn’t have been better—calm, sunny, and perfect for chasing silver salmon. Right away, we started seeing silver salmon biting, and we were happy to see so many smiles as folks reeled in strong, healthy fish. As captain, it’s always great to share my experience and help people have a successful, fun day. If you’re looking to catch silver salmon on a nice day, I’d love to have you join me for an unforgettable trip.

Capt Ray put together a solid day on the Knik River, landing 1 king salmon under favorable conditions. The fish came after a steady effort, and overall the trip produced a good opportunity with quality action. Conditions on the river were excellent, and the group enjoyed beautiful Alaska scenery throughout the trip. Clear water, impressive surroundings, and consistent weather made for a very enjoyable day on the Knik. With great weather and a productive day on the river, this was a successful outing for the boat. Landing 1 king salmon on the Knik River made for a report worth sharing, and the overall experience on the water was a strong one.
