Last few days we've had junior anglers onboard that all caught their first ono (wahoo) and the bkue marlin bite has been consistent with one a day - hard to beat the glass calm water of Kona!!

Thenfishing has been consistent the last couple weeks - dont wait untilnthe last minute to book your trip!! Whether its fresh fish to enjoy while you're on the Big Island or that dream of a trophy billfish (blue marlin, striped marlin or shortbilled spearfish) we have you covered!!

Main objective was to find some fresh fish for Ryan S. and his group to eat while they're on island - we put iin a little effort and 15yr old Landon secured dinner landing a nice 28lb ono (wahoo). We switched over the lures and headed offshore with 68yr old April next up on the rod, we marked a nice fish on the fish finder and seconds later the short corner position went for a ride!! Like a seasoned vet our first time angler put the instruction/technique crew.an Wes Parker had given her to work and after a 25min battle we had her 500lb blue boatside!! After releasing the fish we were greeted with a large pod of dolphins in the glass calm cobalt blue waters of the Big Island which was the icing on the cake for the group - back to the harbor in time for brunch with lifeling memories, new friends and zip-locs of filets on ice for the grill!! Kona is incredible..
