September is starting off with fireworks! A 3 fish morning, plus lost a fourth one! The fish are sitting shallow and destroying bucktails!

Conditions are changing as we transition into a late summer/early fall pattern. From now through September, it should be an excellent shallow water bucktail and topwater bite. During this time of year it isn't uncommon to catch multiple muskies in a trip. Pictured above is a nice one that was part of a 5 fish day!

Nothing like a 3 fish morning! It's so important to take advantage of a weather front when chasing muskies, a drop in pressure when a front is moving in will almost always drive the muskies crazy. This morning was no different!
