A 6 hour trip for some rookie anglers turned out to be a fish of a lifetime trip for one lucky angler! Matt invited some friends to join him on this day and his good deed was rewarded with a battle with a huge wahoo! We weren't going to get too far off shore due to the time constraints onf the trip. But we did get fat enough to hit a pretty blue water rip with lots of bait on it at about 14 miles out. We first hit it headed south to catch some vermillion snapper o. Some natural bottom. We were trolling some of our king rigs behind the boat when all of a sudden I heard Shawn holler to stop! Got him on! Well. It was too late. That fish spoiled that reel faster than anything you've ever seen! Nothing more humiliating than have a fish take all you line and your lure.
