It was about as much fun as a person can have with smallies. The fish were slamming from thr time we got to the spot until we left. Biggest fish were roughly 5ish pounds. Big, fst girls witj big shoulders! The smallie bite is only gojng to continue to get better. We did get one walleye and one pike.

We started the day with smallies to get numbers. We got 24 good smallies in 3 1/2 hours. We then targeted walleyes and we got 7 eater walleyes in 45 minutes. After the customers went to lunch, we targeted largemoth and got 3 good ones before the granddaughter got sick after 45 minutes. It was a great day with great conversation and they left with nearly a gallon of fillets. I did end up with a hook I my arm early on and continued the trip.

Out weether has been volitale at best. In the last 2 days we have witnessed too many changes to count. The fishing was wat better than i figured it would have been. Mission accomplished the last 2 days. Great group!
