Trip Summary

It might not feel like fall is coming when the air temps are still around 80 degrees, but the days are shorter and the muskies know fall is here. Things have been very unpredictable lately, which makes it so important to get on the water and just fish, you never know when the hot bite will happen. Fall is approaching so don't wait, get ypur trip booked. Fall live bait fishing will start around mid October.

October is starting off in the right direction! With unseasonably warm weather the last month, we finally get a cool down and the fish are getting active! We're getting them on bucktails and topwater and I'd expect that to continue for another 2 - 3 weeks.

September is coming to a close and it left me scratching my head most of the month. But, we still got bit and put a few first ever muskies in the boat, including this one we got 20 minutes into the morning yesterday. With the cooling trend in the forecast, I'd expect it to be a great start to October.
