Trip Summary

We toughed it out with the extreme low water condituons on Lake Altoona. The only species biting were Spotted Bass. We had a good day tho!

The Birds Told Us To Follow Them. The StripedBass were feeding on shad and the birds were picking up the left overs. Trolling and casting to Flyfishing techniques all worked. Landed 27 Fish, Lost about 9 qnd we kept 10 to feed the neighbors in the community!

The birds gathered and the shad were being attacked by schools of stripedbass and hybrids. What a day and non stop action from 3:30 to dark. We caught about 30+ and all where about 3lb to 5lb fish.
